What is MailShakes.com?

MailShakes.com is an innovative system that allows businesses to send out cards one at a time. As a MailShakes.com subscriber, you would create your card design(s), compose the body text, and upload your signature. Once set, you can order cards through a simple web interface, a database (.CSV) or automatic exports from CRM programs like InfusionSoft.


What are the advantages of having MailShakes.com send these cards for us? 

You don't want to spend your time physically writing out cards and searching for stamps. And you don't want to have to purchase hundreds or even thousands of pre-printed cards up front. You want to quickly and easily send out personalized cards as you need them! With MailShakes.com, you can order cards and know that they will go out the following day without any more work on your part.


How soon can we start?

You can click the "Sign Up" tab at the top of this page and create an account immediately. How long the setup takes depends on you. For each card design, you need a front cover design, the text for the body of the card, and a high quality scan of each person's signature. You may also send us a copy of your logo to be placed in the return address area. If you have that all together, you can be ready to go the same day.


What are the steps in starting the system?
We try to make the steps and learning curve as simple as possible for our club members. Typically, each member has unique desires that we try to accommodate. The first step that helps in the planning of your custom system is filling out the form at MailShakes.com. Next we evaluate your answers and prepare an outline for a phone consultation where we discuss your desires and brainstorm the best way to begin. Here we answer questions and come up with the best customized system for you.


Are there any setup fees?

There is a one-time setup fee of $40 per card / occasion. Each subscription level has a set number of card designs and signatures included with it. If you would like to add extra card designs or extra signatures outside of what is included in your package, there are nominal setup charges. Please note that graphic design is not part of the setup. If you need us to design your cards for you, we provide graphic design services for $99 per card.


Can I cancel at any time?
Absolutely…but please keep in mind no refunds will be given. You will finish out the current month, and then not be billed for the next month.


Can I upgrade/downgrade at any time?

You sure can! We understand that many businesses are seasonal. Upgrades will take place immediately upon payment. Downgrades will happen at the beginning of the next month. No refunds will be given.


What are the components and their sizes / paper of what’s included in this system? 

Letter Cards: (flat and finished) 8.5”x5.5” / 100# Gloss Cover, printed in full color on both sides. An actual US Postage stamp is applied.
Folded Cards: (folded like a greeting card) 8.5"x5.5" finished size. 100# Gloss Cover, printed inside and out in full color. Folded cards can either be self-mailers (address and stamp are on the back of he card, wafer seals are applied, and it is mailed, or for an extra token, the cards can be placed into clear envelopes.


How do I format the card and letter artwork so that MailShakes can insert personalization?

Save the artwork as a high resolution PDF. We'll add the variable/personalized areas in our personalization program. We just need to make sure to get the size and font specs of the personalization areas in order for it to match the static copy.


How do I communicate the information needed to produce a card or letter?

A .csv database is needed in order for us to personalize your cards. If using InfusionSoft or another CRM system, we’ll give you the Headers that are needed to be uploaded to us. We can set up a spreadsheet in Google Docs, to share, that can be updated by you and we can fulfill from, and we also have a web-based form that you can quickly fill out.


Are there minimums for the lists?

No. If you have 1 or 500 records, we’ll accommodate and get your cards in the mail within 48 hours.


What are the costs?

For these types of ongoing print/fulfillment projects, we are charging based on a token system.


*200 tokens / month program = $198/month (Purchase additional tokens for $0.99/ea)

*100 tokens / month program = $135/month (Purchase additional tokens for $1.35/ea)

*30 tokens / month program = $49/month (Purchase additional tokens for $1.64/ea)


1 token to print and mail (1) 8.5" x 5.5" personalized lettercard.

2 tokens to print, insert into clear poly envelope and mail (1) 8.5" x 5.5" lettercard.

2 tokens to print, wafer seal and mail (1) 8.5" x 5.5" personalized folded card.

3 tokens to print, insert into clear poly envelope, and mail (1) 8.5" x 5.5" folded card.
Pricing includes full color print on both sides and U.S. postage stamps.
*Anything mailed outside the United States will cost one extra token.

Do the tokens carry over month to month?

Tokens do not carry over month to month.
